Weather affects lucky trades chances?

I noticed that out of the 8 lucky trades I’ve made so far there was always a Pokémon whose type belongs in the sunny weather is it possible that the weather plays a role in this?(just putting this out there) this is just an observation

I think what matters the most is what the weather was like in 2016, maybe it rained a lot during the first Halloween event and you didn’t catch a lot? Maybe it got really cold in Dec 2016 and you didn’t have any knit gloves that let you throw pokeballs?

I've only managed to get lucky pokemon when one of the mon were from 2016 and the other was from whenever, got no lucky ones from 17/18 unless one involved in the trade was from 2016 :/

And I’ve traded 2 from 2016 with no luckies from either. While 2 people I was with today traded the same magikarp they both just caught and got a lucky.

I just traded a 98% Arcanine caught 8/28/16 and traded it for a level 30.5 Groudon. Not lucky. The Groudon went from 3454 to 3186. Arcanine 2444 to 2301 (ultra friends). This is tragic;)

So close to being perfectly bad, too. Groudon got 4a/4d/3s! OMG!

wow! traded two of my 2016 mons for mew2s - both turned out lucky, although not superior IVs (78, 14 attack) and 82 (15 attack)

I thought it was 30.5 maybe 30, to me that just means it lost more IV% than I thought. Says attack and defense same in appraisal, below 50%

Thinking of a new name for it, first two thoughts: Screech or Dustin Diamond---won't fit so Dustndiamond
