Walking tracker app

Can anyone recommend a walking tracker app that helps me to track my mileage when out on PoGo walks that meets my below requirements?

I currently use Endomondo for tracking but as I mix walks with bus and train rides and often forget to pause the tracking app, the mileage gets distorted and I have yet to find a way to correct the Endomondo data afterwards. Hence, is there any tracker app out there where it is possible to activate pausing when moving faster than a given limit (e.g., 10.5 km/h)?

There is a app that meets 100% of your requirements. It only tracks the kilometers when Pokemon go is active, and it pauses when moving faster than 10.5 km/h.

This tracking app is called "Pokemon Go". If you want to reset the the tracker, just change your Buddy. Your actual Buddy shows the kilometers you walked since reset.

Not at all man.

Because Pokémon Go is super inaccurate because of the way they calculate distance in straight lines.

I walk Laps at my local park. At typical 5KMH, a lucky egg should yield 2.5 KM approximately.

I get 1.2 usually. 1.4 at most.

I understand why, because I am doing Circle Laps, it's not tracking my actual distances, it's taking a GPS Snap Shot of me at some interval and doing a straight line calculation.

If he wants to know his actual distance, for exercise purposes, he will need a different app.

Yes, preferably I find a better solution than PoGo. Endomondo at least pauses the time recording when you stand still, which is a start. Someone somewhere (besides Niantic) should have come up with a solution also for an upper speed limit...

Yes, to use PoGo's built in tracker is a fallback plan. What I am thinking of instead of swapping buddy is to record the accumulated distance as recorded on the "Jogger" medal. Thus, I could retain my Snorlax as buddy and still track distance.

What I didn't mention explicitly was Endomondo's map plotter, where you see the path of your walk plotted on a map. I find this feature neat. Ideally, I find a tracker that also has this feature built in.
