Voltorb Nest

My local stomping grounds has a Voltorb nest this week.

Are they useful for anything - prestiging against Vaporeon/Garydos? What would be their best moveset?

Voltorb is a sad case. They can kinda prestige against Vape and Gary, but there are better options (Raichu, Magneto). Farm them for stardust but that's about it.

Electrode with Spark+Thunderbolt is probably my favourite Electric type prestiger.

he is good to prestige against gyarados with S/TB. You got lucky, mine is diglett, this is completely useless even against electric mon.
