Victreebell moveset

I have 91IV victreebell with the moveset: Razor Leaf / Leaf Blade.

However, the best moveset should be
Razor Leaf / Solar Beam.

Is it worth to power her up? Not sure if the charge move is bad enough so need some help!

Depends on whether you have enough grass pokemon to take down opposing gyms besides exeggutor or venusaur. I have a similar victreebel which was originally hatched and evolved with the same moveset but I never powered it up. Instead I use it for prestige purposes to get the most points possible. Up to 1000 against a rhydon double its CP.

I agree. If you are not sure about powering up a mon, testing it for prestige is always a good answer in the meantime.

The current ideal grass attackers are Exeggutor E/So and Venusaur V/So. Upcoming gym changes might include move changes though.

Leaf Blade is spammable and might even have potential on defense. As everyone is saying, wait for the rework. Charging SoB takes time and the 'mon can be beaten before it has the chance to fire it.

Personally, I won't. There are stronger and/or tougher Pokémons to use other than Victreebell. I'd rather keep its CP to prestiging range.

Says who? GamePress rates both Razor Leaf/Solar Beam and Razor Leaf/Leaf Blade as "A" attacking movesets (you don't want to use Victreebel on Defense).

Yeah, Leaf Blade is definitely the preferred offensive charge move for Victreebel, she is so fragile that she gets crushed every time she tries to fire Solar Beam.

The thing is, since victreebell max cp is not that high.

If I power her up I can use her to prestige in some gyms, especially vs vaporion. However, since I dont know how the gym rework is going to affect the prestige system I will just hold onto it for now.

Thanks for the help.
