Using charged TMs

I hasn't seen this specific question asked yet. Is it possible to switch back and forth between 2 choices without ever getting what you want?

I have 100% IV MS/MH almost maxed and am hoping for EQ since I already have several double rock golems and no double ground. I am also hoping to use for Zapdos at some point.

1) Is it possible to go from MH to SE to MH until I use up all my TMs?
2) if it get SE should I just stop there since MS/SE is good enough for a primary ground attacker and I can use dust resources later for another Rhydon?

Yes it is possible to just go back and forth between 2 movesets. I once saw a guy use 6 TMs before getting the moveset he wanted.

That makes decisions on the charge moves that much harder. The main one I want to change is my Scizor, but I run that risk of getting night slash.

Especially when you have a BP/IH Scizor which is expected to be great but not against any of the current bosses.

I'm right there with you with my all-Steel Scizor. But I've already invested a ton of dust and candy into him, so eventually, I'm going to have to take the plunge.

Yeah, I have a maxed 98% dual steel Scizor and a level 20 bp/fc Scizor and only 56 candies. I only have 1 charge TM...

Yeah, you can watch trainer tips go through 4 or 5 charge tms on alakazam before he finally gets future sight.
I'm not using any tms on rhydon for double ground. His best match up with 2 ground moves is jolteon and since you have to fight jolteon with multiple players you won't NEED double ground to win.

Just use one, MS/SE is good :P

Guys, how to obtain TM itens? just spinning gym pokestops or winning raids?. Thanks.

It seems like with Level 3 & 4 raids I have always gotten at least one TM.

Maybe I'm just getting lucky though...

I would use a TM on this Rhydon. SE and EQ are both much better than MH.

Mmm what you want to use vs Zapdos?
Golem or Rhydon?
I Believe ground will deal 0.51 to Zapdos

It does say ×0.51 damage from Ground on the Zapdos information page but while Flying type is immune to ground (×0.51), Electric is weak to Ground so I would think it's actually ×0.714 damage.

I trust GamePress did everything well.
Immunity is immunity: 0.51 period

This way the original games mechanics are way more respected. It just makes much more sense than mulplying everything.

Zapdos takes ZERO from ground in main games, no sense for him to take more damage then 0.51 immune.
Understand, good people...

Charged TMs are gold because of this possibility. Might be stupid but I'm hoarding mine for Mew and Mewtwo since I've changed all the ones I wanted to already. Mew has something like 5/6 different charges he can learn, IIRC.

If there are 3 Charge Moves and you have one, but want one of the other two, I have calculated that the AVERAGE number of Charge TM's you will use is 2.0.

This suggests you will need twice as many Charge TM's compared to Fast TM's, assuming you need to change an equal number of Fast and Charge moves.
