Update bug?

Is anyone else having a problem with daily field research and weekly encounter where the app freezes at the catch screen or start encounter screen? Have to close the app and reboot. This has been happening only since the last forced update.

Also, can close my account and then open my wife's account on my phone, and after hers is open, I have to close the app and re-start it in order to see stops, gyms, etc.

Yeah, it started on Thursday and is still happening to me right now.

Claiming the Lapras tasks on the last day of the water event was such a pain in the ass.

I'm currently dumping all tasks that have an encounter as a reward if the mon is junk.

It already happened with the previous update, it was just rarer. Now it's happening much more frequently, really hope they fix it in the next one.

At least in iOS, this problem is solved by allowing the game to access the camera in Settings (you can still turn off AR mode).

Mine has been stuck on all weekly encounters since yesterday. I lost an absol. I cant get mine to even reload.
