Is unown in specific spots in european cities?

I've not been able to pogo today, caught a Kangas from my apartment so i know i am close enough to the centre of my city. No unown on the nearby radar during the day.

Have you caught it in parks etc or should i just go raiding and hope for unown to spawn at random?

I've caught many at the most crowded places at the mall. They were also spawning from lures.

Seems like it only spawns in the specific areas listed. I headed into town and saw a fair amount of Unowns and Kangaskhan but none locally.

You shouldn't expect them to be super common now. They are out there in the listed cities, but you won't encounter Unown and Kangaskhan every ten steps. However, I was able to find quite a number today:

If you have an Unibail-Rodamco mall in your city they are super-common there. I caught 51 Kangaskhan and 40 Unown in less than three hours in the mall today.
