Umbreon and Espeon

I haven't evolved either of the Gen2 Eeveelutions yet. Now that some of you have had a chance to "field test" them, what are the best uses for each? What is the ideal CP/power-up range for each of them? (For example, you don't need to max power an attacker or a prestiger, but you would a defender).

Eevees are pretty common in my area. I've been conserving candy and dust, and like to be frugal with them --especially with the coming rebalance.

At Level 32, I have a lot of Legacy "Swiss Army Knife" and niche pokemon, so there aren't many holes in my gym arsenal. That said, it’s fun to have a variety of good mons, although gyms seem to be loaded with the usual Blissey, Gary, Snorlax, Dragonites, and Vapes, with an occasional Rhydon, Eggy, T-Rex, and Flareon tossed in. (Guilty of that myself.)

Thanks!

Umbreon is a good prestiger to Psychic and Ghost Pokémon, Espeon secures you a good spot on a level 10 gym.

I think Umbreon is more useful, but if you want a glass cannon to kill Blissey, Espeon with C/FS is your best bet.

Umbreon is good for prestiging. I even use it against Snorlax with Body Slam sometimes because it can survive multiple hits from Body Slam.

Sounds like I'd want: (1) a high IV Espeon to max out as a defender and (2) a mediocre IV/CP Umbreon. If the Blisseys range from 2,400-3,000 and the Snorlax are 2,200-3,100, what would the ideal CP be for Umbreon to prestige -- considering that I would be unlikely to get a full 1,000 pts for prestiging (and I don't want it to faint too quickly)?

For Blissey I mainly dodge only the charge moves to make sure I don't run out of time.

Glass cannons that do a lot of damage, I only ever used them in suicide attacks to prestige against my own CP 3106 Blissey and build up the gym again if everything below it was kicked out
