ULTRA URGENT: PLZ HELP

So like, you have two phones using the same account, they are in different places. One phone wins a Raid in one location but doesn't catch it, will the second phone be able to catch it without moving to the location the first one is at?

It should work, but having the same account live in two radically different places is liable to result in a shadow ban.

Edit: Misunderstood the question. Yeah that's not going to work. Statement about shadow ban still withstanding.

Um... I know it is a late reply, but my guess is no. The second phone would not be able to start the encounter without tapping on the gym the raid took place at.

Yeah, have to be at the gym to start the encounter.

People do this sometimes with child accounts: Child raids using iPad, then after parent has caught theirs, switch phone to child account for easier catching. (Because iPad aspect ratio makes throwing weird)

Don't have to log off the first device, but the second device does have to be at the location of the gym to start the catch encounter.
