Tyrogue evolve

Recently hatched a perfect IV Tyrogue.

Not that it really matters, but I'm curious - is there a "dominant" stat that dictates what it will evolve into, or is it just determined at random?

With all 3 IV stats being the same, you have an equal chance of any of the 3 Hitmons

QUOTE
"Tyrogue - Tyrogue can be hatched from 5K eggs. When evolving if its HP is its highest IV, it will evolve into Hitmontop. If its Attack is its highest IV, it will evolve into Hitmonlee. Finally, if its Defense is its highest IV, it will evolve into Hitmonchan. You can find out which IV is the highest from the appraise function. While we have not conducted extensive testing, we believe that when two IVs are equal, there is equal probability of both evolutions."

Thank you! I simply googled it. Didn't occur to me I could find the answer on this site.

Seems very sub-optimal to hatch a perfect one, I suppose.

Somebody did a poll on Silph Road, and it indicated that when all three are tied, the ratio Top:Chan:Lee was 2:1:1. There is some potential for self-selection bias (people are more likely to be looking to report results with the shinier new Gen 2 evolve). However, my guess is they just chose a simple implementation for doing 50/50 coin-flips while reading the list of IVs that results in an asymmetric distribution when there's a three way tie.

I got also 100 IV Tyrogue and it was hitmontop. If att and def equal then is is HmonTOP
