General attacker. Just be thankful you got a Tyranitar with the best offensive moveset. If I were you, I won't compare whatsoever. There are generally more effective Pokémon to use against each type. You have one of the most sought Pokémon with the best offensive moveset. I'd pump it until I can if I were you.
tyranitar uses
so I just evolved a heap of quality pokemon that i had been saving up and my tyrantar got bite/SE
what do people use them for?
looking at the resistance table suggests dragonite, snorlax, non dazzle blissey and psychics if they ever become a thing.
How do they compare to FB/blizzard cloyster for dragonite?
Do they dps hard enough for a 3k blissey?
basically are they worth the dust compared to my DB/DC and DT/HU dragonites?
side note
my dragonite went dt/hurricane fairly happy (2nd evolve 1 wild caught.)
but
5th attempt at alakazam (98%) went shadow ball (don't really care as I like espeon more anyway)
and
what does it take to get a good machamp, 5th attempt and another crap moveset (heavy slam on a 98%) you should be able to trade 3 in for one of what you want or something. can't get a double fight poly for the life of me either.

Max that muthafo up! I have a level 36.5 Godzilla with B/SE and it is a gym sweeper. If you like DB/DC Dnite you will like your Tyra. It is smooth for dodge all style.
You're comparing your Tyra to a cloyster against dragonites? Hahahaha.
My Tyra loves beating up on 3k+ Blissey and still got enough HP for the next defender.
You will put that B/SE in your permanent attacking line up along side your DT/HU and DB/DC. Congrats!
it's only recently i got these, my DB/DC was wild caught at 75% ~ 1800 cp and i spent ages looking at it thinking as soon as I power it i will evolve a better one finally got enough candy to evolve my one and only hatched dratini (86%) and it went db/dp
then gen 2 hit spent a bit longer thinking about it and only just finished powering it up. the DT/HU and Godzilla I only got today and I am just very used to using specialists that was a bit nervous about spending dust without being sure about what i was going to use it for.
B/SE is incomparable to Cloyster. You might be better off w/ a RT/SE Golem vs Dragonite, but no doubt B/SE will do the job vs Dragonite and Blissey superbly. Yeah it's good enough for a 3K Blissey and lolz I guess I get the fighting luck 2 C/DP and 1 C/CC Champ. Not sure I want luck in that dept but ok I'll take it..
Wicked!
If you love your DB/DC dragonite, you will love the B/SE tyranitar as I do. Its now the first pokemon to lead an attack on a blissey or dragonite filled gym.
Find it very nimble and easy to dodge stuff.
I got lucky, my first evolve was B/SE and I've been pumping It ever since. Don't intend to evolve another tyranitar unless I'm overflowing with candy.
"what do people use them for? "
One can make a good case for B/SE being the best attacker in the game for players who like to dodge everything due to it's many uses, which relate to type resistances more so than SE attacks. What I use mine for are below:
Blissey -- Best overall against Blissey in my opinion since it resists every Blissey attack except DG. It also does quite well against DG, but you may have better options if you've powered other top Blissey slayers as high as the Tyranitar, particularly C/DP Machamp..
Snorlax -- Resists everything except EQ and HS. If the Snoralx doesn't have these two movements, I consider B/SE Tyranitar by far the best option.
Gyarados -- Best option against Crunch by far. My B/SE Tyranitar does better than my Jolteon across all Gyarados movements (far better health, only a few seconds slower), but some of this relates to powering it to a higher level.
Exeguttor -- By far the best if Psychic charge move. I favor DT/H Dragonite if Grass charge move
Dragonite -- One of best options, but not my first choice unless I know it does not have SW.
Alakazam, Espeon, Lapras, Gengar, Scyther, .etc. -- My first choice, but rarely see these in gyms. My B/C does a bit better than my B/SE against Alakazam, but both are excellent.
