Tyranitar - how many are too much?
I have four Level 32 Tyranitar that I hoped would serve as part of my Mewtwo squad.
93% (15/14/13) - B/SE 91% (14/15/12) - B/C 89% (15/1015) - B/SE 91% (13/15/13) - B/SEI just caught a 96% (15/13/15) with B/C at a Raid cause I had a carried-over Pass to burn.
Should I power it up? I have ~320k Dust and 220 Candy.
Ideally, I'd like to keep some Dust for if/when I manage to get Mewtwo and/or for other investments. Having a great Attacker would be cool, but not sure if it'll be worthwhile in the long-term. Are 5 high-level Tyranitar's too much?
Thanks for the help! Good luck!

How many Ttars do you need? As others have stated, ideally you would have 6. But for Mewtwo, 6 Ttars may actually be a hindrance; if the Mewtwo has Focus Blast, those won't do much good.
So while I'd pump that one up... if you can pump up a Scizor or some other Good Counter, I'd pump them up too. On the raids I'm planning on having a team of 3 Ttars, 2 Scizors and a Lugia just in case it turns out to have Focus Blast.
You definitely don't have too many TTars.
I think having 3 of each (B/C and B/SE) powered up is kind of the minimum number you'd want to have before you might consider NOT investing in more. And personally I'd prefer to have 4 of each, B/C in particular.
Personally I have 4 B/C over level 30, and I'm glad I do. For soloing Alakazam and Gengar, Lugia raids, and the upcoming MewTwo raids. I have 2 B/SE over level 30, but since I have good rock Golems I didn't feel as much of a need.
And of course, they are also valuable general attackers in case the meta changes in the future. Of course if we ever go back to a CP-based gym scene, they would be valuable as defenders (even though they're not good defenders...high CP ones were extremely valuable before)
