Tyranitar defensive moveset

Just theorycrafting Bite/SE is for attacking but is IT/crunch a better defensive moveset or is bite still better?

Bite and IT are close for defense but Bite is 0,8 vs Fighting so i think IT is better.

Well but Bite has STAB so it neutralizes it.
Iron Tail is x0,8 (and no STAB) against Steel and WATER who can go against Tyranitar too.
Plus Iron Tail seems to charge energy slower.

Tyranitar is a joke on defense. It's like Rhydon, only worse.
