Typical Tyranitar question

Sorry for another moveset question. I got Iron Tail Crunch on my only Tyran, I'm level 36 and have 65 remaining candies after the evolution. Should I power this up? Is it even worth it despite it having not the best attacking set?

Power it up and use as defender - that's the best defensive moveset.

That's one of most ideal defensive movesets. I'm assuming you hatched a level 20 larvitar which you evolved, which means you're only 1 candy short from getting that beast all the way up to level 30 already! Power it up and let it tower above all other defenders!

Wait to see if any news of the gym rework hits. Because he is a total garbage defender when cp is not on his side. Mainly because Machamp is a beast on when attacking a Tyranitar no dodging he does over 40 dps.

Unless you're in an extremely competitive gym scene and desperately need a High cp defender, I would hold off. Larvitar candies aren't common and once you invest, you can't "un-invest"

Best defensive moveset on a decent defender to sit over any Blissey immmediately.
Just don't add it to a gym with other Tyranitar, mix it up, and you have a strong addition to any gym.
