Two Question Thanks.

The event is going to start soon, besides powering up team against Mewto Without FB, I also got Dragonite dilemma, I got IV97, lv18 DT/DC and IV93 lv23 DT/O. Besides that, I already have lv35 DB/DC, which one should I power up over level 35 at least for playing? Almost a month for Suicune, I catch two 10/20 of Suicune with free raid pass everyday, only use GR for CP over 1600( IV91% and up), and it works very well for normal berry too. For those Hidden power, the perfect IV Suicune 98% with Flying Hidden Power, is that good? I also got Psychic, Steel, Rock and Ice hidden power? Anyone please explain?

  1. Try avoiding using dragonite.

Dragonite only surives longer than tyranitar in the PC/FB set up. C/FB: tyranitar survies 35s, dragonite 25s.

Tyranitar survies longer in all set ups except FC/FB, even C/FB due to resisting confusion. It has also higher DPS in all set ups.

Confusion is ALOT more damaging to your game than FB.

This also goes for Gyarados, survies Confusion for about30s

If it has FB you will probably be not selected any tyranitars but you won't know if it has PC or C.

Imo:
Just go with your regular team of tyranitars. If you are low on people and might faint all 6 put an anchor in the back. Blissey outperforms dragonite in this role and should give you a solid 60-75s extra.

In general tyranitar outperforms dragonite in all upcoming tier 5 raids. It dragon-movesets equals a medicore DPS rate and its dragon/flying-typing doesn't protect it from any raid bosses except machamp.

You should be very conservative powering dragonites for the purpose of raiding.

IMO:
Dragonite:
A+ gym attack
B+ gym defend
C+ raid

Tyranitar:
A gym attack
B gym defend
A+ raid

Dragonite does decent against Raikou (It takes big damage but slightly outperforms Rhydon for damage, also charges moves fast) so you can put one in the front slot of your lineup against it. It should also do decent against Entei since Vaporeon doesn't deal super high damage, though really good Golems would probably outperform Dragonite.

Doesnt matter what pokemon you put (with exception of lugia), mewtwo confusion/fb one shot every pokemon I had. I did ex raid today, pokemon maxed out level 39.5
