Trying to figure out my biome
Singapore is an urbanised tropical island. Of course, Pidgey is the most frequent spawn, followed by Rattata. Completing the "trash everywhere" list are Magikarp, Venonat and Eevee. (These are based on my seen counts, so I only include Gen 1 species.)
Other very common spawns are Exeggcute (our streets have many real coconut trees), Slowpoke, Psyduck and Poliwag, with Weedle not far behind. Staryu, Golden, Paras and Krabby are also common, with the "quite common" tier comprising Oddish, Bellsprout, Spearow, Caterpie, Horsea and Ekans.
Dratini is easy to farm, which would suggest a water biome, but Tentacool is surprisingly uncommon. There are a few areas where Magnemite and Voltorb spawn at very high rates; outside those areas, they are rare. Meowth and Zubat are uncommon here despite being very common in other countries.
I can count how many times I have seen Jynx, Shellder, Seel, Mankey and Diglett in the wild. Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Rhyhorn and Geodude are also rare (the first two had their seen rates inflated by the pink event). Among the starters, Charmander is far harder to find than Squirtle, which is slightly behind Bulbasaur.
