Triple Stardust

So I was totally confused reading the news thing and I basically set out with my son on Saturday all excited about triple stardust. Now I understand that that wasn't what was meant by the post, although I really don't see where it says starting Tuesday there will be 3x stardust.

Now that we are in it, when does it end? Do I need to take the rest of the day off work?

"If certain areas of the world can meet the challenge requirements,they’ll unlock bonus Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching Eggs—including a guaranteed 3,000 Stardust for every raid—starting September 3 at 1:00 P.M. PDT. Also, until September 10 at 1:00 P.M. PDT, Trainers can unlock a bonus to earn Star Pieces that will last for one hour!"

Similarly poorly written - so does that mean the triple stardust lasts until September 10th?

It ends on September the 10th at 1 pm PDT

Yes, but bare in mind that it's not triple dust on everything. Only catches gives you that while hatching eggs only give you double dust.
Other things that give you dust (such as feeding berry to Pokemon in gym) only gives you the normal amount.
