Triple resistance?
I remember a little bit ago when this site published an article about gen 3 that said Flygon would have a 3x resistance to electric due to its duel typing. Is this actually how it works because that doesn't make too much sense to me? It doesn't seem that a type that already has an immunity can have even more resistance.

In pokemon go, immunities in the games gives a 0.51x multiplier, and resistance gives a 0.71x multiplier. If an immunity goes with a resistance, you multiply the two to give a 0.35x multiplier.
If an immunity stacks with a weakness in pokemon go you multiply the immunity (0.5x) with the weakness (1.4x), to give you the single resistance multiplier (0.71x), whereas in the games (IIRC) you can't damage an immunity type even if the sub typing gives a weakness (i.e. Zapdos with Electric/flying cannot be damaged by ground)
