Transferring Legendary pokemon

So I have been accumulating a lot of legendary pokemon. I am running out of room and I try to not spend any money on the game so I don't want to waste my coins on more pokemon storage. I try to use them on raid passes only. Anyway, I have like 12+ of just about every legendary. What are you guys strategy for keeping them? I feel like there is no point in having more than 6 of each one. I was thinking of just keeping 6 of the highest cp of each one. Trying to wait until a double candy event to at least get 2 candy for each transfer. Just curious how many of each you guys typically keep. Transferring legendary's just doesn't seem right but my pokebox is full!

Transfer anything with bad moves and below 82% IV.

This is close to my strategy. At some point, trading might be a thing and there will be some newer trainers who will want one of these.

Haven’t figured out how I feel about weather boosted 76 though. Is it a better keeper than an 87 non-boost?

Stardust/candy can be accumulated and used all the time; IVs are permanent. A weather-boosted 76% won't be better than a non-weather boosted 87% in the long haul.

True but a weather boosted Kyorge at L25 would still be a good addition to a raid team for any bosses weak to water. It will probably be better than any Gyardos you have.

One of each is my playstyle, both legendaries and non-legendaries included. I keep one of each legendary with the best possible IVs I can find for each of them while they are still around. Makes my team look distinctive, and makes beating T3 raid bosses solo more challenging, but more fun!

I'm hanging on to every single one of them. Who knows what could happen?

- Trading could come out
- They could be enabled in gyms
- Movesets could become legacy

Anyway, they're really not taking up THAT much room. I'd certainly rather have that than a few extra slots for evolution mons or a 20th Rhydon.

Especially weather-boosted mons. They could make a really nice emergency-pokemon supply if my potions and revives begin to run dry.

I could use them and choose not to revive or heal them until I get a surplus of potions and revives.

I've been keeping my three best of each, but more for those that could have trade value like Raikou.

I’m waiting to transfer my legendaries until Valentine’s Day or the next double candy event, will save me a lot of rare candy.

I only keep like 2 or 3 of each legendary. The rest goes into the trashbin

I only keep 6, rest goes to trash.

I keep anywhere from 3 to 5 of each but will power up only 1 each of those above 30. The rest get traded for candy.

Dupes of some. Just one of others. This is really the only one I caught worth keeping...

I set a hard limit at 3 per legendary species and transfer the worst ones no matter what. I'm already (very lucky) at 3 90+ IVs Kyogres but if I get better ones, those 90+ IV Kyogres will start getting transferred.
Keeping 6 is a solid plan. That way you can eventually make a full battle team of them if you need to or have extras for trading.

I keep 50 each. Why do you ask? Whats the point?

I have kept 3 of each before Raikou as I didn't have much luck with good ones anyway. I have kept 5 Raikou (98x2, 93, 91, 89 all with 15 atk), 3 Ho-Oh as it's not great anyway, and all my Groudon and Kyogre so far (most of which I'll transfer during a double candy event). I have no great Groudon but keeping my 6 best ones as it's the best ground type in the game. I am also going to keep 6 Kyogre, of which I have only 1 good one thus far.
