Strange! The friendship level between me and a fd is 3☆(ultra fd). However, we both have to use 100 stardust to trade(regular). The database on the websites showed the cost is just 8. What happened??

Do you both have the Pokemon in your dex?

Yes, when we choose the other trade, the stardust is match the database. When we want to do the regular trade, the cost showed us 100 stardust, and really deduct us 100 stardust. It's not 8 dust.

I suspect that the website just copied the percentage reduction for special trades and applied it to normal trades. From what I understand, special trades get significantly less expensive for Ultra Friends and Best Friends, but normal trades cost 100 dust at any friendship level. It's a common mistake and is still out there on many websites.

That information is wrong. It's always 100 stardust for regular trades, but the percent reduction for special trades is accurate. I traded a Kyogre yesterday for Unown for 1600 dust with someone I'm Ultra Friends with (originally 20000).

This is what happens when websites want to be the first to post information that people are looking for. Sometimes it's just wrong. ...But you visited their site. So they're happy.

The minimum stardust is always 100.
