Tracker's future

Is Niantic planning any changes for the tracking system? Cuz here in my town I'm missing tons of mons being albe to see only those at pokestops, and sightings pop-up usually in areas almost totally empty.

It would appear they think it works OK.

It is painful when a full list of 9 pokemon, some you want to catch, gets cut down to a line of 3 because an Ekans spawned at a Pokestop that requires a 2km round trip walk to get to - suddenly you don't know what is around you.

Lucky for me, if I walk around 100 meters in the opposite direction of the nearest stop, it moves to 'out of range' and I get my listing back...but this is not always viable.

I wish they would take peoples issue with it more seriously.

The problem with the tracker is that it prioritizes common pokemon first so they fill up the 9 slots available bumping rare pokemon off the list.

What is more funny is that ive been out with friends and their tracker will show them completely different pokemon than mine even though we are standing in the same spot.

Sightings is a joke. Ive had a Snorlax show up on Sightings and when I was tracking I wandered into the range of a pokestop and the entire sighting list disappeared and left me with nothing but common pokemon nearby.

Yes, it needs to be fixed. the footprints need to come back.
