Yeah... I guess it's hard to catch...

I've had that happen. But you did the right thing. Togetic is a mon that you have to go all in on and hope for the best.

I have wasted 30 ultra balls and 10 blue balls with normal razz berrys on my second Togetic encounter (I could not do curveballs yet) - and then I wanted to spin a Pokéstop after which it was gone.
My first Togetic was caught in 1 ball from a bus ride.
My third Togetic was caught after escaping from 2 Golden Razz + Ultra + curve throws.
