Togetic?

It evolves to a potentially useful mon in future gens (4).

I wouldn't waste resources on it though. Who knows how far away G4 is. You could hatch a 98 IV Togepi tomorrow...or any of the hundreds of days between now and when it's meaningful.

I have hatched enough Togepi that I can be pretty selective with the ones I keep. Any below 90% I transfer.

When Togekiss is eventually added, the candy cost to evolve Togepi to Togetic will probably drop similar to Zubat and Horsea. Since Togetic is not strong enough to be much use, and I was lucky enough to find and catch a wild Togetic, I am not spending any candies evolving Togepi now.
