Today went better than expected.

I was worried I'd not be able to get shiny Mareep nor complete the EX Raid.
Then I hear from my group that some of them have invites to the same gym. We gathered there, split into two groups and Mewtwo went down pretty fast. Caught Mewtwo on 6th ball (he performed several attacks chained, so I lost 2 balls to that).

Then I found a shiny Mareep. Low IV but I like it. None of the Mareep had high IVs, but I already have a high IV Ampharos from an egg anyway.

I got my first 2 on gyms where I have gold, by raiding low tiers.

Congratz. The park I stuck to didn't have many mareep but I've heard someone else from our group also caught a shiny. And I see a pink Ampharos in a gym already, lol.

Thanks! I wonder if the next research reward is a new legendary bird. 2 more birds and I'd have most of the Kanto dex filled, except for Kangaskhan and Tauros.
