Here is what the new update will bring.

Right. SO if collection remains the same with the same caps the absolute most Pokemon you would need would be 10 of each type. In reality you don't need much at all as you can just place whatever isn't like what is already in the gym. And since they will not be ordered by CP there isn't any real reason to sweat hatching them or CP status. They will all act the same way in terms of leaving the gym.
Man I really want to get some of those TMs. I'm kind of doubting that my area or team is strong enough to do the coordinated raids though.
Hmm, called it about the raid system using a time counter going down and people (all trainers) will have to go to the gym to do battle with a special Pokemon depending on the gym...
Sounds interesting and not sure about holding gyms when there is only 6 uniques now...I suppose my Lapras can be used again...
Not sure if it's possible to even hold gyms anymore with no prestige system or anything going down...
With the beta and new system, it would be hard depending on how much motivation gets dropped when you attack...
Edit: Wanted to add that people were smart to SAVE YOUR POKECOINS since my guess is they will be much harder to get now and you can also buy a "Premium Raid Passes from the in-game shop."

Glad I didn't use any for Incubators or anything lately...
Edit2: Also, when a raid happens, ALL pokemon is returned to their trainers so there will be no more sitting in a gym for 6 months anymore I'd think...
Edit3: Wanted to add that with the berrys, I'd suppose if they don't limit how many you can give to a mon a day, a gym squatter can keep feeding Berrys and NEVER be forced out...Might be a bad thing if you eventually want a spot...or people will attack in the middle of the night when no one is awake...(SAVAE YOUR BERRIES!)
I doubt there are enough active team members of mine here to do it with. Even though it is a decent sized city. Maybe all of the younger players that cannot drive will spoof to gyms to make it enough though.
Wow. I wonder if spoofers will be able to hop from raid to raid to raid to get super elite rewards?
You can only hold 1 raid pass (1st day spin probably) so my guess is 1 a day unless you buy the "Premium Raid Pass" from the shop...You can't hoard them like evo items.
Since it's a timer, you just show up to any gym and can be in a building, hidden, whatever so you will never actually have to interact with anyone...better in a city, less so in an open park.
Also depends on who else is there to help...if you don't take it down fast enough, everyone walks away with nothing...Also depends on if you actually have to have any mon alive to get the rewards (my guess is no (meant no))...
Like with Blissey, using a Vap will time out and having a 30k CP Blissey would be interesting :).
So this means all the high IV pokemon I transferred that had bad movesets now have a chance to be something better with TMs? I'm happy I kept the high IV L/EQ Snorlax and IT/FB Tyranitar.
Happy I kept all the pokecoins and all the candy and didn't power anything up. So since prestigers are useless, all those pokemon kept at low levels can be boostes to be something better since the limit is 1 unique pokemon per gym :). I like it.
