TM's with Legacy "Pokemon"
Sorry I think this question might have been asked before, but I just re-started playing Pokemon and my quick 'Q&A' search here didnt provide a useful explanation.
If i have e.g. a Dragonite with Dragon Breath / Dragon Pulse - and use a 'Charge TM' on it will it re-roll the charge move based on the old legacy moves? - meaning it can get Dragon Claw?

Ok, I just did some testing. I had a really old dratini with dragon breath and aqua tail. I evolved it to dragonair and it stayed dragon breath and aqua tail. So it was capable of retaining db in its evolution! However, when I did the final evolution to dragonite, it changed to steel wing and hurricane. Then I used 3 fast TM's, and it went to dragon tail, then back to steel wing, then finally back to dragon tail. Through four sequences, the evolution fast move selection by the game server, and then three more TM changes, the results never waivered from steel wing and dragon tail. My conclusion: Niantic didn't care about changing the intermediate evolution to disallow dragon breath, so it's possible there. What they care about is the final evolution results, and those dictate steel wing or dragon tail only! Naturally, the charge move follows the same rules, and can only be selected from hurricane, outrage, or hyper beam.
