Tired of this tracking system...

Today I consider myself a very lucky person, just ran into a Pupitar like 20 mins ago on my way to work, but what makes me mad is that he was just at a stop, not close, not even a meter from it, just on top of it, and the tracker did not show him at all, not when I was walking to it not when he spawned just on my feet, but it showed a sentret and a murkrow that were standing in the same stop (even a bit far from it).

Also my tracker was not even full of mon, it showed 8/9, so I don't think that something else took that Pupitar spot on the tracker because it was showing me mon that were pretty far away (3/4 stops far from me)

Has someone experienced something like this? How can it be that the most rare mon are not showed on the tracker sometimes? I am now wondering how many good catches I have missed just because I did not went to a particular stop when the tracker only shows bad stuff?

NOTE: I know that a minute or two before they actually despawn mon are removed from the tracker, but this is not that case either because I was walking in the same street that time before and with the tracker always opened.

Many, I guess! :-)

The tracking system have never been good, only different variants of "bad" :-)

In my town many good spawn spots is between pokestops and do never ever show up on nearby.

There are many ways to make it better.
- Prioritize the more rare nearby pokemons.
- Skip the near-pokestop feature, instead provide direction to the "selected pokemon". That will make it more of a "hunt" than today, especially in rural areas.

i am suffering with this tracking system , pokestops is so far from each other , so it will be showing me a pokemon from 2 KM because it is in a pokestop , while ignoring a way nearer Pokemon spawning area , now days i never hunt , i just walk the route am planing to and hope for the best , i really hope they do something about it

This happens to me a lot too, there is a part of my town where I have only 2 stops, they are very far from each other and from my home, and the tracker keeps showing mon at one stop when you are on the other and like 600-700m away or even more.

I really wish they implement some kind of filter or a way to prioritize those rare spawns, it will actually help a lot not only rural players, also people like me who are semi urban and live on normal towns.

It also happened to me when I'm collecting magikarp... In the tracker there are (2) karp appears but when I came into the stop there are no karp so I assumed that they already expired then I go to another stop but just 10-20M from the stop they appears once again so I go back to the Stop where they appear and same what happened there are no karp spawning....

Yup...it is useless.

The bitt hat surprises me is that Niantic know that people will pay good money for a decent map/tracker and yet still refuse to give us one...but destroy any others out there.
Don't get me wrong, I realise trackers put a massive strain on their servers, and so I understand why they want to reduce the load - but why they don't 'sell' us one if we want is is just mind boggling.

People want it...people will pay for it - freaking sell us one for a monthly fee - and actually make you customer happy.

i think there should be at least two taps , one for poke stops the other for wild spawning that shouldn't be that hard to implement as it will use features already available just interface adjustment
