Tips to save potions and revives?

I "discovered" that too, but I've since read about it, as well. I usually use it when defenders come home who are below level 30. It doesn't always work, though. Recently, I didn't get any additional HP with one.

I discovered that if you evolve a "dead" mon, it regains its full HP. I use this for extremely contested gyms for which I just want to claim my daily coins. I put in a Pidgey, get my coins, and when I use that Pidgey for my evolve spam, I put in the Pidgeotto I got from it. When that is beaten, I transfer it. I get to claim my coins twice without ever having to use potions or revives.

Instead of sending your higher CP Pidgeottos and Raticates to the professor when you power level. Use them in gym battles first, then send them on their way after they get knocked out. Raising a gyms level with 12 Kakunas is fun! Death by spaghetti!
