I wonder if you could shave a few seconds off if you kicked things off against Gengar with Alakazam, followed by Gengar. Or maybe 'zam - Tyranitar - Gengar? Similarly, with Jynx, either Flareon or Moltres (particularly if using it against Avalanche) to start and Entei #3. I found Jynx far tricker than Gengar - if it doesn't quite work out with a L30 squad, perhaps some investment in stardust is necessary. Let us know how it goes, if you do give it a go!
Tier 3 solo progress
I finally managed to solo Gengar with Sludge Bomb! My team was as follows (all level 30, IVs A/D/S)
1. Tyranitar, Bite/Crunch, 13/15/13
2. Gengar, Hex/SBall, 14/14/10
3. Groudon, MS/EQ, 14/13/15
4. Alakazam, PC/FS, 13/15/15
5. Dragonite, DT/OR, 14/14/13
6. Rhydon, MS/EQ, 13/14/14
Hoping to find one with Shadow Ball soon!
How is this for a makeshift Jynx team?
1. Entei, FS/OH, 15/15/11
2. Moltres, FS/OH, 15/10/14
3. Flareon, FS/OH, 14/14/10
4. Tyranitar, Bite/Crunch, 13/15/13
5a. Gengar, Hex/SBall, 14/14/10 (if Jynx has Draining Kiss)
5b. Houndoom, Snarl/FP, 15/13/11 (if Jynx has Psyshock)
6. Scizor, FC/XS, 12/12/15
Of course, it would have no chance against Avalanche; need Metagross (and perhaps a second Tyranitar) for that.

Would Gengar be able to do enough damage to Jynx before fainting against Psyshock?
My experience against the easier tier 3 raid bosses (Machamp and Gengar) was that the clock was rarely an issue, but fainting out often was. Unsure to what extent this applies to Jynx, who is definitely harder.
Have to admit that this team is unbalanced. It will get better once I have a Metagross with BP/FC as an upgrade from the Scizor.
not sure on your Machamp team but 6 lvl 35 Zams (glass cannons) with no dodging will last longer than the 180s.
If you can do 1-2 charge dodges with only one glass cannon against machamp you should not faint out despite having an entire team of glass cannons. At lvl 30 you should also be able do solo it with 4 Zams with more (but according to pokebattler realistic) amount of dodge.
I checked the numbers and seems that the killer for a lvl 30 gengar is not Psyshock but confusion,
Confusion + PS/A has a winning time of 177-178 ; borderline DPS, (depends on phone but my phone starts at 175 and seems to be average time)
FB/PS:163. All other moves are also well below 175.
Gengar relies on doing one or more shadow balls. At lvl 35 it survives pretty much anything long enough to get of a shadow ball giving it a great DPS value.
I even have 2 gengars in my Jynx team. Taking the spot of a tyranitar.
Also, you might want a second opinion before investing 100k dust I gengar. It’s just my opinion.
