Thoughts/upgrades for my low lvl Gengar team?

Disclaimer: This is a pretty long post and can be a bit tiresome to analize, but I really need help from some more advanced trainers than me, THANKS :D

I'm a lvl 29 player trying to solo his first Gengar on Clear weather (to then transition into any weather). Here is my team: (a/d/s)
1. lvl 25 15/13/12 Groudon 2877 ms/eq
2. lvl 30 14/7/15 Rhydon 2766 ms/eq
3. lvl 27.5 12/13/11 Ttar 2812 b/se
4. lvl 30 8/13/11 Espeon 2460 zh/ps
5. lvl 26 15/13/11 Flareon 2118 fs/o
6. lvl 26 11/14/14 Golem 2118 ms/eq

Pokebattler gives me an average of 166,2s on Clear weather.

Other interesting pokemons:
1. lvl 29 15/5/15 Houndoom 2034 ff/c
2. lvl 30 8/11/15 Rhydon 2720 ms/se
3. lvl 30 13/12/12 Exeggutor 2440 c/sb
4. lvl 20 11/13/11 Ttar 2037 it/c
5. lvl 20 13/11/10 Alakazam 1589 c/fs (I have a lot of candies)

What are your thoughts on my team? Do you think I'm ready or I need some more improvements?

My initial options to consider:
1. Powering up Groudon,Ttar, Flareon and Golem to the nearest breakpoint
2. Powering up Alakazam to the nearest RELEVANT breakpoint (+25)
3. CTM Ttar to Crunch
4. CTM Exeggutor to Psychic
5. CTM Rhydon to Eq
6. Swapping Golem for crunch Houndoom in the last spot for smoother dps (Houndoom has like 1% less dps atm)

If you have any other improvements please tell me. I have 4 FTMs and 2 CTMs and I'm pretty low on Dust and candies.

Again, Thanks for your Help Trainers!

You shouldn't have much problems in clear weather. Just place the Espeon first (and FTM to Confusion if possible), and power up the Groudon to L30 (or whatever breakpoint).

Hey 1ucas, I do think that you're there for Gengar in sunny weather. But for solo'ing a Gengar in other weather, all you need is (love) hard hitting psychic mons around level 30.

Easiest way of doing this is finding weather boosted eevee's and evolve them into espeon, any eevee above ~800cp would do.

I dont think you should use ground types for any other weather than clear because the attack stat of Golem and Rhydon arent that good. I think only Groudon is viable for not clear Gengar raids. Yours need some powering up, at least to level 30.

If you can CTM your Tyranitar to Crunch, do it, it would be a very good improvement on your team.

Leave the flareon out of your team, there are way better counters for Gengar.

Good luck!

With a Flareon and Golem, you are likely to struggle even against Focus Blast (the easiest charge move to solo).

1. Definitely power up your Groudon to level 30. It is probably the most future-proof species.
2. Tyranitar is also a very safe and strong investment; FTM the one with IT (unless you use it as a defender) and power it up!
3. If you can afford the dust, power up the Alakazam with FS too, especially if you are just as keen to solo Machamp.
4. The Exeggutor is a decent option, with Solar better in clear weather and Psychic better in non-clear weather. If you have a Dragonite with DT/OR, consider that too.

Last but not least, dodging is crucial against Gengar.

Gengar resists Solar Beam, Psychic is better even in Clear weather.

Do you have any gengars or ghastly you can evolve? Gengar is a great counter to himself.

Sadly I don't even have Haunter registered in my Pokedex (100 Ghastly candies), that's why I want to be able to solo Gengar! hahaha

Do you have friends to play with? Duo'ing a Gengar is pretty easy and you should easily succeed

We have a small WhatsApp group in our town (7-8 people), but we only have 1 gym in our town so we pretty much have a random raid per day. I go to university in Madrid (~1 hour by car) and there is where I usually try lvl 2 ("and 3") solo raids. None of my university friends play PoGo... :S
