Right now I have a 93% Machamp with c/cc. I also have an 82% Heracross, 96% Poliwrath, and a 98% Ursaring. Are these pokemon worth powering up? I also understand that 6 machamps are probably the best fighting team you can get but that's a little boring and tedious. I'd rather some variety. Would these four make a great fighting team for Lapras, Snorlax, and Tyranitar Raids?
Heracross: Yes! I'm still gutted that he's regional.
Poliwrath: Should be a good support act to Machamp and Heracross.
Ursaring: Lacks STAB, but still solid, I guess.
So yeah, that would definitely improve your lineup against Lapras, Snorlax and Tyranitar. Question is whether you need it or not. Depends on how many people show up at your raids.
If you have the dust and candies, I wouldn't mind powering up to Level 30 at least the 98% Ursaring (since it's 98%) and Ursaring is half decent against some raid bosses if you got C/CC.
I'd take prob both the Machamp and Poliwrath to Level 30 as well since dust needed is pretty low. Heck, I've taken 2 80% Machamps to 30 to build out my team.
On close raids where your area has at most 4-5 people, sometimes having a slightly better team could mean all the difference honestly.
Our last raid we literally won at time 0 and had to try like 4 or 5 times...Some people started to power up some of their mons and that could have made the difference.
Less needed for dense city players.
