Is there a way to request raid notices on remote gyms?

Using my phone from my home I can see on the main screen (the view with my avatar and the map) only one gym. I receive notifications about upcoming raids on that gym only. I think this is a "push" notice because I get it automatically (unless I opt out). I would like to "opt in" for raid notices about other gyms that are near my home but do not show on the main screen. Is there a way to do so? If not, do you think that would be a good feature for Niantic to implement?

It is all related to the radar radius ( only items appear on screen reflect on it )
At least you have one , I have zero and I hope niantic increases the radius , gym hunter is a good solution tho for now at least

What is "gym hunter" and will it show upcoming Raid Boss events?

It is a map of the gyms and it will show the same clock ( 2 hours before raid , and the one hour raid duration )

I googled it and tried it - and it doesn't work - maybe just a temporary issue.

Also the silph road is beta testing their new 'raid'io. Not sure how it works yet. Might be worth looking into. They claim it doesn't violate ToS

Nope...you either live close to gyms and the system works, or you don't and the system (lack of system) is just plain useless.

It would be handy for a massive number of players if Niantic realised not everyone is surrounded by hundreds of stops and dozens of gyms.

The last update was a clear sign that they simply don't care , there focus is on major cites and that is all , other cities and rural areas isn't important at all for them ,
