Is there a chance to receive a candy when you razz berry a Pokemon defending at a gym?

I've heard its around 1/85 per berry. I dump most of my berries into my meltanmetagross/Tyranitar/Dragonite to try getting candy for them, as well as the extra bit of dust and gym exp

It happens very rarely, and it's difficult to notice, the reward pops up for a moment and then disappears.
