Is there any way to know the exact IV for this Snorlax?

My Snorlax is level 30, 2813 CP and 245 HP. The appraisal (Valor team) says that "Your Snorlax simply amazes me. Its HP is the strongest feature. I'm blown away by its stats. WOW!" I used IV calculator and it gives me 3 possibilities: 15/11/14, 15/12/12 or 15/13/10 for HP/ATK/DEF. It turns out that these 3 possibilities give the same CP at all levels. I know this does not matter much, but is there any way to know its exact IV?

Apps like IvStats can get you a lovely ban but they usually show the exact IVs.

It's either 84, 86 or 88% IV as you probably know. I don't know any safe way to state which one is correct.

Actually you don't really care as he'll have the same CP and HP no matter which one it is.

You've got a very nice Snorlax here, congrats mate.

IV not the final goal, the final goal is we want to know its CP at level 40. So when cal IV, do cal CP at level 40.

Well if they have the same CP now, then they are probably the same IV%, just differently accomodated stats, which means even CP at lv. 40 will be the same for all 3. I personally use IvStats, used it for a while and I havent gotten a ban, it also saved me so much time from appraising every pokemon multiple times XD Am I rite..

If you train it one time, and recheck the IV, the possible IV results could change due to the way stats increase and effect CP. Try boosting once (And I would not say this for a level 22 Fearow) since this is something worth the candy investment, and see if it narrows down the results.

Sorry I read that note about how the CP is the same every level, and my brain decided to give it the middle finger? If you power it up and the options are the same...

Pick the middle Iv number and move on >.<

Power him up once or twice and re-check the IVs after each power-up. It can take up to 2 or 3 powers up but it works. A least I did it that way once or twice when I had several options and it worked.

Using the CP calculator, I can compare and see that those IVs will in fact remain at that same CP no matter how many times you power up.

That leaves only third-party TOS-breaking programs that can tell you your exact IVs.

At L35.5 if it is 87% then it will have +1 CP. So if it is 87% then you will know soon, otherwise you will know it is either 84% or 89%.

Thanks, I didn't know that as I just used https://pokeassistant.com/main/ivcalculator which conveniently shows the worst (84%) and the best (89%) CP at different levels. But I don't have enough candies to power it up to 35.5. Anyway I don't care about its exact IV, but I'm just curious so I asked this question.

My Lapras did this too...I just powered up 1 time over and over again till it was able to find it out at some .5 level.

I assume it would work for you too...

Eventually, my Lapras didn't have this problem anymore...
