I've just achieved level 35 (which I initially thought not quite likely to achieve. Thanks to special events). I think further level up is very remote for me. At the same time, basically I'm quite satisfied with my fleet (offensive/defensive) though I still don't complete the pokedex and no luck with a good snorlax.

Feeling stranded here. Just want to know if any of you have similar situation and what keep you moving (playing the game). Thanks.

Pretty much that you invested that much time and effort into getting to a high level, it's tough to just say "I'm done".

My kids play some, they have lost a lot of interest as well though so usually I have to initiate the "let's go wreck some gyms", but they get into it once we get out there.

We prolly have 20 pokeballs between the 3 of us and walking around downtown or the local park crammed with pokestops doesn't sound like much fun in December so hard to find much desire to play.

The ball issue can be really frustrating. It would be great if it was closer to 10 coins for 100 balls. I usually pass on most mons just to conserve.

I'm really surprised this isn't the case, with an option to spend more on better balls.

It's so backwards to limit players from having literally the most basic of items to play the game.

I agree. It makes no sense that Niantic should want to sell pokeballs. A player that has to buy balls is a player that is about to stop playing. They aren't even Ultraballs. A premium should be premium.
The lack of pokeballs does not make me want to buy pokeballs. It makes me not want to buy lures, incense, or lucky eggs.

It really makes me feel bad reading this, me walking around and dropping red Pokeballs, small Potions and Revives because I want my 50 points and not "Your bag is full" every time I pass a Pokestop. They have to fix this for rural players who live in a frikking desert (Pokemon wise), maybe randomly distributing a minimum number of mons per square kilometer and adding some other way to get stuff.

A daily 20(or more) balls would be a welcome relief to many. Maybe a chance for Pokemon to carry a healing item when caught too.

I live in a capital city by myself, but when home with my family for christmas etc. I encounter this problem too.

However, pokémon have started spawning now. It doesn't help though, my brother still needs to pass most mons bc no balls.

I agree to some extent it should be like a coin a ball 2.5 coins a great ball and 5 coins a ultra ball. Although I have a fill up place. There have been times where I didn't fill up before an adventure and strongly considered buying but could get past how inefficient the balls per coins were. So I just dealt with what I had conserved balls not catching trash and using the few stops around on my adventures. Now with 1000 bag space I don't think I'll run low anytime soon though

I too never planned on moving beyond lvl 30 but here I am at lvl 36.
Thanksgiving event helped to skip lvl 35.

Grinding 5+ hours/day since July.
*Caught 27,405 mons(13,157 water types)
*28,887 poke stops
*1000 item bag/1000 storage
*15 Dragonites( 12 are > 3072CP)
*Too many Vapes, Gyrados, and other mons to count.

Did NOT spoof and bot.
Did spend $10 in the beginning.

This is a good game. Can be better.
It is missing the ability to have interaction with others around the world for competition.
Without competition with others around the world, there is no purpose to continue to play beyond lvl 30.

Taking over gym for coins has no purpose for me now.

Niantic better push huge updates to keep all players above lvl 30 to continue to play this meaningless game.

Lvl 36 here. My incentive currently is just hoarding coins, doing a gym run once a day and catching mons to power up my strike force and make clearing gyms even faster. They really have to add something new

Level 32. Cold weather reduced my playing by half. Finally hatched an Aerodayctal 8hrs ago and was able to evolve my first charizard as well today due to a charmander nest showing up the other day. Just need a Muk for the regional gen 1. So that's part of the motivation. I've also been wanting to make a team of Pokemon that has a lot of variety.
