tfw there's a gym full of demotivated mons that have been there for 10 hours, but someone takes down the gym with just the mon you put in that's been there for 10 minutes

Maybe some one hasn't got it to gold yet, or a player on the same team as the demotivated gym hadn't found a free spot that day so had to wait until it was taken by another team?

There are plenty of people who collect gold gym badges though, me being one of them. I'm super glad when my pokemon are working overtime, preferably for days in a row
