a team for fastest gym clearing

Today, me and a mate followed an enemy player around who had started taKing over our gyms specifically. In the end, he placed a Chansey and a Blissey in a gym where a raid was about to start.

We did not manage to beat the pokemon in time. He used two accounts for placing and feeding Berrys.

I am looking for pokemon to level up for the fastest clearing of the gyms to avoid losing in those situations. Advice?

A high-attack Machamp with Counter and Dynamic Punch is always a good start. Carry an Espeon, Alakazam, Gengar, Jolteon, or Dragonite around for Pokemon that resist Machamp's Fighting-type attacks. Legendaries are also a good bet, as some, such as Entei, Moltres, Zapdos, Raikou, and Mewtwo have very high attack power.

Pretty sure OP knows what is great, but the best strategy is to be the berry feeder;) However, if you have another player with you, stagger your battles to try to blitz the feeder.

We tried coordinating battles to kick him out by waiting to release the final charge move and opening up a new fight, but we didn't succeed.

EX raid I did on 11/11 me and another pretended to care about seiging the gym the last 30 minutes (well aware of the easy catch rate) We almost knocked the front Blissey out a few times, a group of typical 2175 Gengar Focus Blast and a level 30 Mewtwo FB; plus my 10 or so decent Machamps--I had potions to burn back then, really wouldn't do that now. Just be unpredictable, fight the Blissey and Chansey one time, then fight the Blissey twice in a row the next time. At least it makes them stare at their remote gym screen

Even better than simply staggering attacks:

I think I get it now. It should be harder with only two people though since you have to end a battle and can proceed to the next only afterwards. Machamp seems to be suited for this task, because I used Tyranitar and the last blow isn't big enough.

If I level up another Machamp and no picking the attacker required in between, that might work. And it's probably Dynamic Punch which is needed on both Machamp.

I don't think this works anymore.

I think it puts you into the same battle now even if you leave the pokemon at 1% health.

Okay, I have all of the above mentioned except for Alakazam, Mewtwo, Raikou, Zapdos, Entei ranging from level 34 to 37.

My advice in this situation is don't be a stalker. Following somebody around isn't cool. How can you be so sure he was targeting your gyms

Double phoning and feeding with the weaker account is pretty lame. Putting Chansey in makes the "strategy" even lamer. Challenge the gyms even if it doesn't always immediately pay off.

We know him and also talked to him.
And I know he went for our gyms because he left Blue gyms alone, but attacked red ones.

Dragonite & Machamp. Simple as that.
Machamp is very fast for many common defenders: Blissey, Chansey, Snorlax, Lapras, Rhydon, Golem, Ttar & Cloyster
Dragonite on the other hand resist very many types and dishes out high neutral damage

Most people overthink their matchups by choosing perfect counters but with the max 6 vs 6 it's mostly not worth the time.
Good thing about Dragonite is also that he gets auto selected every time while Machamp not so often but it will pay out for Blissey and company.
