Tangela moveset

Grass Knot is fine. You're going to evolve it to Tangrowth in Gen 4, so the moves ultimately will change anyway.

I have always loved Tangela. The one I powered up has SoL but either is good. If you plan on using it in raids, GK is probably better.

IMO don't power up a Tangela. Now that prestiging is gone they're not very good.

Save the dust and candies for gen 4, when we get Tangrowth evolution; then evolve, and power up if it gets a moveset you like, or if we're all drowning in TMs by then. But until then, it's really not useful.

I love Tangela for one reason, Tangela was my first ever shiny i have caught in a pokemon game(excluding Red Gyrados) But movesets won't matter for now, mahzza said it, i got a perfect IV electabuzz and i am thinking the same thing. Gen 4 is most likely a year away but when it happens.... you have that Tangrowth ready to go!!

It's the old 1 bar vs 2 bar debate. It comes down to preference and attack style. In reality, there is little difference. I have come to prefer 2 bar moves in general.
