Is Sunkern rare for you?

It's rare all right. And I have 3 of these stones left after making a Bellossom. At least with Sunflora you've only Sludge Bomb to fear. Bullet Seed might look bad but I'm sure it'll get buffed somehow, too much of a difference in these moves' DPS. Or maybe this move's sole purpose is to generate energy.

I'd found three alone in parks, until the last rotation filled one, so I could evolve. Not bad as a prestiger as pure grass. Patient and luck.

I haven't even seen one on nearby! So yes, it's super rare. And that goes for both the two cities I frequent (one very urban and one rural).

Wow. I'm sick of catching and hatching sunkerns. Ledybas too. Annoying. I just ignore them

In my grass biome they are only slightly less common than rats and pidgeys. Unlike swinub you aren't missing anything like this biome is though

They are pretty common for me.....

Lots of swinubs before water event, less now, ZERO Sunkern except for a single point nest 2 rotations ago. I did not catch enough to evolve. Of couse I got more sun stones than the rest of the special items :).

I would call them "uncommon" but not quite rare.

It's fairly rare here, but then a nest appeared, and in a couple days with pinaps, I was able to evolve my BS/SoB Sunflora, which is actually a pretty good prestiger against Vaporeon.

So far I've caught 2 Sunkern, and, just to contrast, 202 Swinub.

It is common for me, got the 50 candies I needed on the first day of gen 2 and I will hardly catch more of them. Since gen 2 I found 3 snorlax and not a single swinub tough.

I have only seen them at nests.

Rare as hell for me. Only 1 so far...
