Suggestion: Little Cup Gyms

I just caught a bulbasaur with 9/15/15 IV and Vine Whip / Power Whip attacks and thought wouldn't it be nice if I didn't have to evolve it or grind it into a candy...? So just like the main games, wouldn't it be nice if Niantic created little cup gyms where basic pokemon like bulbasaur, eevee, etc. can battle it out to see who's the best little mon out there!

Mechanics:
1. only small basic pokemon can be put as gym defenders (no electabuzz/snorlax/scythe/etc.)
2. little cup (LC) gyms can be in the same spot at the current normal gyms but players have the option to view either the normal/LC defenders
3. gym max level is only 5
4. trainers can only use 3 mons to attack/train LC gyms
5. trainers can only control max 3 gyms with each gym giving out 5 pokecoins + 100 stardust per LC gym (low coins and dust will mean that players will still strive to evolve their mons so they could battle in the normal gym)

Pros:
1. this will open up a whole new playing field for new and old players
2. low level players or players from rural area that don't have enough candies to evolve their mons can participate in daily gym battles
3. players will actually look at their basic pokemon attacks and stats instead of just checking CP&IV then evolving/grinding them.

There are so much more fun things that we can think of regarding little cup gyms! I hope one of the Niantics people get to read this and agree that it might actually be a good idea.
