storage space 2,000

Have seen articles released that they increased the Pokémon total storage to 2,000 possible. Articles are all dated July 6th. Anyone hear anything about this? Still can’t go above 1,500. Any insight would be appreciated

A news article on pokemon.com had a paragraph about increasing storage space to 2000 but it was removed almost as soon as the article came out. Most likely it was a mistake and that paragraph was meant for a later news article.

It is 2000. Maybe make sure you updated the game?

The question pertains to the Pokemon Storage Bag (Pokemon caught) and not the Items Storage Bag. Right now the current Pokemon Storage Bag is only at a max of 1500. No idea on when Niantic would increase this. Hoping it sill be soon.

That update was forced like two months ago. This question is about pokemon storage.
