How much storage do you have (mons and items)? Will they give extra pokemons storage after releasing gen2?

450 Items, 350 mons. It'd be nice if they gave everyone a Pokemon Storage Expansion when they release Gen 2, but I wouldn't count on it.

I have 450 items and 300 pokemons. Should I increase the pokemon storage for gen2? Its quite unfair if they dont give it. Gen1 started with 142 pokemons and 250 in storage, so it seems only fair if they give more 50/100 space...

I have 700 items and normal ammount of pokemons.
- 100 great balls
- 80 ultras
- 70 max revives
- 400 max potions
and random shit potions and revives and berrys

Im extremely heavy pvp oriented.

450 mons, 400 items. Probably don't get your hopes up though, so that you're not as disappointed than if you were expecting them to give a free upgrade, but it would obviously be nice if they did.

I like to have a large bag and storage so I can take my time for checking the ivs etc.
Both pokemon bag and item storage are 1000, thus max.
Probably I will directly expand when I get the chance. Especially the bag for items.

850 items, 500 mons, I wish they add 50/100 more mon space with gen 2 release but I won't count on it, everything Niantic is doing lately is mostly income oriented, the new tracker system (get people to big stores or places where they have deals with, since the new tracker I haven't seen any rare mon around me), the week of double items from stops (get people to fill their bags so they expend money on more bag space), same with lowering the rate on revives and increasing again the normal potion and pokeballs ones, you have 2 options, delete pokeballs and potions or get more space if you want enough revives to fight gyms, also the events.

Yes, it's very nice to have double xp, stardust and candies from everything, but we know they actually get a LOT of money from people buying incubators, so my guess is gen 2 release, same space, get people to buy mon space at least 400/600 coins per player.

I'm max out at 1000 mons and 1000 items and it doesn't seem to be enough now... Having less space would probably make me more selective.

It's not easy being a hoarder :-)

I'm at 900 pokemon, 1000 items and just hoping they increase the max available pokemon storage that we can purchase.

I still have the default storage. Never upgraded because I'd always rather buy incubators. Coins are scarce when your only source of income is gym action. Therefore I'm really hoping for more space when gen 2 gets released

I have 500 for Pokémon and 1000 for items. Thinking about buying more Pokémon space though. Wouldn't giving more space be unfair to everyone who already bought it?

I have the original
250/350

forces me to be very selective and harsh.

same with me. I think it's no problem at all but it takes longer to switch from hunting mode to pvp mode. still works as long as there are a lot of pokestops around

300 for pokemons and 400 for items with 510 pokecoins taked from gyms. And i think i dont need 300 for pokemons if you just use your strongest pokemons and pokeon to evolve.

1,000 bag and 600 mons. I hope they give extra Pokemon space for Gen. II

I maxed out both and I don't really need the space for the mons but items, well, I enjoy having too many revives, they come in handy when going for a gym run.

1000 items, and 500 pokemon. Level 33 free player (all coins collected from gyms), with relatively easy access to pokestops. I've always felt that, for a free player especially, permanent upgrades are a much better way to spend pokecoins than buying consumable items.

It still seems like I'm always running low on balls and potions/revives, even though I rarely have less than 700 items. When I run low on potions, it seems like all I ever get from pokestops are balls, and vice versa. Been throwing away a lot of pokeballs lately to make room for potions and revives.

500 pokemon storage is more than enough at the moment, as I try to keep my pokemon list manageable.

1000 bag storage and 250 Pokémon. I transfer any Pokémon below 82.2% IV even perfect Pokémon with terrible moveset and I also transfer Pidgeys and Ratattas, etc. until I have 500 candies to mass evolve.

Why should they give more extra slot when someone who farming daily coin can get their upgrade once every 2 day.

Are you serious? Do you really think that you having access to get 10 gyms per day everyone has? Think about a bit before saying anything, a LOT of people have access to only 1 or 2 gyms on their area, or even if they can access more the turnover rate (players and bots) is so high that they can only get 3 or 4 gyms per day, I can get like 6-7 but I have been to smaller towns and I know that's not the case for most of the players.

Isn't this new prestign system help you to be able to hold gym? Isn't it help most of the people enough? If it wasn't becuase of this I will agree with you for them to give an extra slot upgrade.

It's not my case but I have to say that the answer is of course NO, new prestige system does not help anything keeping a gym, attacking a gym and take it down is just a mater of time, nothing more, not even skill, just time and potions/revives.

The thing I am trying to say is, imagine a town with 1 or 2 gyms (there are a lot more than you think), and like 100 people playing the game on that town, do you really think they have the same game as you? They barely can get 10 coins per day, it would make 20 days to just an storage/mon upgrade, almost a month, and the game has been out only 5 months...That's what I am trying to say, that's one of the reasons they should increase the mon space for free, not everyone lives in Santa Monica, or New York close to Central Park (just pointed 2 huge examples), probably 80%-90% of the players are not in these kind of areas, they have to think about their players more, and they are not doing that (for example the new tracking is pointing to a pokestop I have a km from my house since they launched it, even havng like 10 spawns 100m from my house...).

Try to think about it, probably 95% + of the players can't get 100 coins per day like you can ;)

That doesn't make sense to me if on that area have a few gym but many people playing why don't they make a request then. The problem is not the developer or the game but the player itself , they just have to change their tactic to get more coin not just repeat the same less effective plan or just lazy. Next time show some case that not too specific.

This current gym system is too helpful enough for most people don't make it even more easier.

Make a request? Niantic does not accept any new pokestops / gym request since almost the beggining of the game lol. Change their tactic? What tactic can you have if you only have one or two gyms in your town? Again you are just talking without even thinking ;)

Quote from Pokemon go Niantic site:

How do I create a new PokéStop or Gym
Please note, we are currently not accepting submissions for new PokéStops or Gyms.

If you are having trouble finding PokéStops or Gyms near you, please try visiting a local park or other interesting or historical locations in your community.

That's everything, again as I said, not everyone lives on the same area as you ;)
