Starting Out Guide

I was looking for a starting up guide for friends who may want to start in the game, or just started and need a betting understanding of the game. The closest thing I could find was the building an alt battle ready account guide. Is there a good guide for people starting out? One that explains the importance of catching Eevees for Espeons and Abras for Alakazams to take on a Machamp? Or how the gym system works? A lot of people who have been playing the game for awhile still don’t understand the 50 coin cap. Like if their Pokémon was in a gym for 3 days and they didn’t get an coins yesterday, why do they only get 50?

Even helping to build a decent team. Machamp should be a priority for taking down gyms, and helping with raids. If they even bring back Alakazam, catching Gastly for a Gengar is a great investment. Don’t use too much, if any, stardust in the beginning. Do a raid a day, even if it’s a teir 1-2.

Things I wish I knew when starting out. My first Dragonite (I wish I still had for trading) later on I found out only had a 26% IVs. Wish I would have known to evolve something stronger. Or my Gyarados.

Maybe there is one on here, but a guide for beginners, and even helpful tips for them. For example, the Eevee Evolutions are great for cheap alternatives for certain raids.

I would have done a lot of things different if there was a great guide out there. Something like all those pidgeys, caterpies, and voltorbs are useless, just toss them out. Evolve the pidgeys once you have a bunch of candy on a lucky egg. Get to level 30 as quick as you can and then develop a great account for taking on Legendary Raids.
