Starmie moveset rating

I just noticed that the moveset ratiings for Starmie do not include the Hidden Power move set. Is there a reason for this or was it overlooked? I have a Starmie with the Hidden Power moveset and was trying to decide what to do with it.

I don't think any Hidden power in the game is practical, and in the case of starmie nothing really bests water gun/hydro pump, so it's just really there for randomness. What is the type of your hidden power?

Pokemon with Hidden Power, like Starmie and Porygon2, have something like 50+ move sets. GP might not be interested in running a full analysis of each (though to avoid confusion, they probably should make a note about this rather than leaving up old grades).

We've already had posts here about this. It's not just Starmie whose moveset gradings have not been updated. There are a few others, the most important (along with Starmie's) being Scyther's movesets.

For Starmie, Water Hidden Power is the same as Water Gun. The difference is that Water Gun has a way shorter cooldown - which makes it better for offense imo.

Besides the aforementioned water hidden power and also psychic hidden power, the rest of the hidden power sets won't benefit from STAB, so would likely be less effective - although most would likely find situations where a defending mon would have a weakness to their Starmie's hidden power type. Because of the slowness of Hidden Power, this isn't very likely.

I'd move on before worrying about a starmie's hidden power usefulness.
