Post Warning: not a Stardust hoarder.

Tyranitar: 96% (15 atk) from lvl 20 to lvl 39.
Moltres: 98% (15 atk and def) from lvl 15 to lvl 35.
Houndoom: 93% (15 atk) from lvl 15 to lvl 33.
Muk: 93% (14 on all stats) from lvl 15 to lvl 33.
Blaziken: 98% (15 atk and hp) from lvl 20 to lvl 33.
Latios: 96% (15 atk) from lvl 20 to lvl 31 (need more candies).

Why: my playstyle seems different from most. The meta, in my opinion, is that any mon could be a raid boss at anytime with the next rotation. I am establishing a set of good fighting mon for each type to use for soloing 3*, duoing 4* or small teaming 5*.

Cool. I also got a 98% torchic, but I just wait and see any community day for exclusive move for blaziken which might (not) happen.... Haha

I'm with you you on that. I've also made it a recent goal to sit on a good IV version of Pokemon. So far my best pocket Torchic is just a 93%.

This one was a pre-community day evolve that I had not got around to powering up. I've gotten lucky with high IV/high level weather boosted Sceptiles and Mudkips but never for Torchic (which seems to like to spawn in partly cloudy weather).

To make such a team you don't need to power it up right now, just collect good power up candidates, candies and dust. And you're done. Candies/dust doesn't hog bag space, so no need to power up in advance.

I maxed out a legacy gengar and legacy exeggutor recently.

For me now the only sensible options to power up is 96%+ legendary/pseudo legendary or legacy moveset pokemon (with respectable IV)

However, I'm thinking to max out my shiny dragonite and gyarados now.

Why do you think confusion exeggcutor is worth maxing? I have a 98 IV myself, but i dunno if i should do it

Up

Down

Exeggutor is one of the strongest non-legendary/pseudo legendary pokemon there is, and this is one of the highest DPS neutral set in the game.

Yes, it is certainly not worth it compared to maxing a dragonite but I have 5, so I can't really use more maxed dragonites.

It's a moveset where you can slot into psychic and grass teams and still be competitive on each one- kind of a buy one get one free. Mewtwo is bad as a grass attacker and FP venusaur is rubbish as a psychic attacker, but you get two for the price of one on confusion exeggutor, albeit not the best for either.

True but exeggcutor cant replace mewtwo - i mean, you're going to power up a mewtwo regardless, at least i am. But it is strong indeed

I am powering a mewtwo too, but I don't have 6 maxed out yet :) And that's a long time away, so there will be plenty of use for my max legacy exeggutor.

Even if you have your 6 max mewtwo, your legacy exeggutor is still 3rd best grass DPS (after itself with BS and Frenzy plant venusaur), and is strong regardless.

Both my maxed ones have C/Solar Beam, to fit the 'dual purpose' description I mentioned above, since Solar Beam and psychic (with super effective) have similar damage profiles, I think solar beam is more useful.

I have a 3rd confusion one at level 20 with seed bomb, but probably leaving that alone for a while.

The confusion/solar beam ones I maxed are 15/15/11 (91%) and 13/14/15 (93%). The confusion seed bomb one still at level 20 is 15/12/14 (91%)

For my legacy gengar I have maxed a 14/15/15 (98%) and 11/13/15 (87%), and this is as low as I will go for IV I think.

Not a stardust hoarder. In fact, my stardust never exceeds 200k at any one time.
L37, so max is L39.
Maxed a 100% Machamp that I caught (and evolved) on Mareep CD day. Thankfully the Machop was caught at L34, so not an expensive investment.
Maxed a 100% Alakazam. My first ever perfect mon, an Abra hatch from 2016.

Currently powering a Rayquaza to L36 for Latios breakpoint. (Don’t care for the Latias one, it would probably already have left by the time Ray reaches L36). Ray is currently at L34, just need some more rare candies!

Powered up my most used mons (100% Machamp, 100% Rhydon female, 96% Vaporeon, 98% Espeon, 100% Exeggutor, 96% Dragonite, 93% Jolteon, 98% Typhlosion, 98% Shiftry, 100% Piloswine, 91% Cloyster)
Some additional ones powered up:
Two Xatu (both 100%).
Currently working on an 84% houndoom with double dark moves to help out with Latios. I have a nearly maxed (for lvl 35) female houndoom too with double dark moves.
Once I'm done with the houndoom, I'll work on my double ghost 96% Gengar.
I have not powered up any legendaries because either they've got too low IVs or not useful movesets, currently hoarding Mewtwo candies and waiting for a CTM or two.

Took a L32 wild catch 98 14Atk Larvitar to L40, maxed a 91% Blissey that I evolved from a quest Chansey and powered up my 2nd perfect Rayquaza from 20 to 34, where it sits at 3333. Oh and a L28 Breeloom to 32.5 to be viable for Tyranitar duo.

One of my longstanding projects is a fight club of Machamps. Thanks to the Kanto event I was practically swimming in Machop candy - I currently have 4 Machamps at level 37 for the last Ttar breakpoint, a Machamp at level 30 I need to power up, and a Hariyama in the 30's I need to sink more dust into.

Other high-powered things of note are a level 37 Rayquaza, a Kyogre with candy reserved to power up to level 36, and a legacy Gengar I just leveled to 35 that I plan to bring to 40.

Currently maxing out my 100% Moltres I caught a few days ago. I already have a high level Entei and with Charizard's Community Day I wasn't thinking of touching my Moltres anyway. But it was my first 100% legendary and I had 40 candy, so I went with it. Now waiting for more rare candy.

In terms of recently, I'm looking at maxing a 91% Metagross, 98% Salamence, and 100% Gyarados because they are already level 34+

I generally do not power things from level 20 unless they are fantastic, like literally 100%, unless it is 1) a legendary or 2) can do the job better than a legendary. For example, I powered a larvi from level 6 to max because it does what it does better than a legendary.

Gonna try and max all my best legendaries someday that will be a large amount of the stardust, but any left over I have for a few more Machamps and for a FP Venusaur, oh and I have a perf Gardevoir that I want to max with Shadow Ball - could be a good option against Focus Blasters and on gym defense

L40, 2,4m stardust currently.

Gastly, 15/15/15, level 21 to level 26, "power up pokemon 5 times" task twice
Blissey, 12/15/15, level 15 to level 37, gym defense
Chansey, 14/13/15, level 15 to level 38, gym defense
Chansey, 14/15/13, level 15 to level 32, gym defense
Mew, 14/14/15, level 15 to level 40, I felt like it
Golem, 15/15/14, level 35 to level 40, needed for breaking my personal best time on Scyther solo
Golem, 15/15/15, level 34 to level 40, same as above
Salamence, 15/15/13, level 20 to level 40, addition to my Lati team
Before that I maxed 12 trophy mons from various levels, most were hundos.

It does, that's why I'm powering it up. I don't need it immediately but I figured I would certainly have maxed it at some point so it became my new powerup grinder.

Not a hoarder but maxed Dragonite number 3. Been having bad luck against Latios, last 6 out of 7 have had dragon claw...always battle it with 4 raiders and I’m by far the strongest raider. Giving me a clue to ignore Latias bc I imagine nondragon Latias tougher than dragon claw Latios

Started to stockpile (instead of doing a lot of nonsense powerups) but likely won't ever reach hoarder levels. I power up my legendaries when I have rare candy then I try to keep a few non-legends at max. My only major investment lately was bringing up a near-perfect Machamp to max. Most of the time I won't even power up a lot of 90%+ Pokemon that I don't actively plan on using.

I powered up Latios to 32 and Im concurrently powering up my best Swampert and Mew. Also I power up my perfect Sceptile about once a week. He's currently lvl 38

Level 40 6m dust

I really wanted to power up a latios since i didn't have a chance to get db dc dragonite.
First 15/15/13 next day 15/15/15 latios ran from me. All balls landed with golden berry...
I max at least one of every legendary and others with use.

Below are the ones I have maxed out as a lv32 player. I'm very much a solo player so I don't have many legendary! I personally only level up 93% or better IV Pokemon, because I'm constantly using startdust and I feel it is wasteful to use on lower IV mons. Therefore my startdust is invested in only 93%+ IV mons that have been highlighted by GamePress.

100% Dragonite [Dragon Tail / Outrage]
93% Dragonite [Dragon Tail / Draco Meteor]
93% Dragonite [Dragon Tail / Hurricane]
96% Gyarados [Waterfall / Crunch] <- changing to Hydro Pump
98% Espeon [Confusion / Psybeam] <- changing to Future Sight
93% Gengar [Shadow Claw / Shadow Ball]
93% Venusaur [Razor Leaf / Frenzy Plant]
93% Tyranitar [Bite / Stone Edge]
96% Charizard [Air Slash / Blast Burn] <- changing to Fire Spin
96% Charizard [Air Slash / Blast Burn]

With regards to IVs, there's really not a huge difference between different IV pokemon, just my personal preference to only keep the 93%+.

Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Machamp.

Stardust situation: 2.2 mil

Last significant (i.e. <=20 to 40) boost, which was if I remember correctly a week or two ago:
Larvitar > Tyranitar; 100%; L6; L40; L40; upcoming Mewtwo raid
Right after the Eon twins were announced:
Rayquaza; 98%; L20; L37; L40; because Lati twins (last breakpoint for one of the two)

Most other recent boosts have been 30 to 35-40.

Not a hoarder at all but managed to amass 500k of dust during the event. My last power up was the Gyarados I evolved for the mew research.

Gyarados; 98%, lvl 21: lvl 35,5; strengthening my water lineup.

If I get rare candy I am currently powering up my Rayquaza a little further.

Rayquaza; 98%; lvl 31,5; lvl 35,5; stregthening my Dragon-lineup for the latis.

Before that I maxed:
Machamp; 100%; lvl 19; lvl 40; It's a must
Golem; 100% lvl 31; lvl 40; Rock-lineup strenght.

Just looked at my next candidates for dust-investments. Caught 3 high lvl, high IV Rhyhorn during the event. Two of them will eventually be powered up from lvl 29,30 to 35,5 93%, 96%. Then there will be a fourth Gyarados to be powered up from lvl 23 to lvl 35,5 93% to complete my water lineup. I have caught a lvl 28 Machop 91% 15a recently which is under consideration to streghten my fighting team which is already very good, but especially the sixth spot needs some tweaking.
