Tier 4 raids of stage three pokemon like tyranitar in corresponding weather, catching tons pokemon that are weather boosted, hatching eggs with star piece active.

There really arent many effective stardust grinding strategies, ive been trying to figure them out, but there dont seem to be any that get you a enough fast enough

Doing everything that gets you more stardust more efficiently. So if you're on a budget, be sure to use your starpieces on 30 minute windows where you know you will be catching pokemon constantly. A good way to do this is to build up your encounter bank and playing on a bus riding a route that you know has plenty of cluster spawns at traffic lights.

Don’t spend any.. this is the best way to grind.

And grass-, fire-, and/or ground-type pokemon a month before that.

In general, during stardust boosting events, use lures/incense with star pieces.

Focus on double/triple dust events.

I collect and save up 10K eggs to mass-hatch with starpiece active during an event

My strategy is quite simple: Catch everything and hatch eggs.

I usually don't want to spend too much on incubators, so mostly I just use the normal incubator, but if I save up and get like 8-9 10km eggs, then I might buy some so as to hatch them all at the same time. And since I've got a few Star pieces left from buying boxes I will use one when hatching them all. 50% extra is quite a boost when hatching many 10km eggs.

But it's good to save Star pieces for events as well. When there's a 3x dust Community day a Star piece will really help.
If you catch 200 Pokemon during CD, that will get you 90k dust. And that's without any weather boost.

Recently we've had a few 3x Stardust events. So there's been good times to use them. Just grinding for the duration of a Star piece would get me like 20-30k Stardust.
By the way, unless you've got loads of Star pieces, you shouldn't waste them on when you're just going to play casually and catch a handful of Pokemon. Save them until you will really grind or for special events (or mass egg hatching).

We will probably get a 2x or 3x Stardust event later this summer, so that will be a great time to grind and use Star pieces.

My goal is to reach 10 million Stardust then.

Use starpiece only when you are certain you gonna catch a lot of pokemons, preferably when there is a double or tripple SD event
Play with friend at area with many pokestop near each other, so u can share using lure
In the non event, i just use starpiece on 7 day streak, and 7 days field research, i have it at the same day

My own strategy is like this:
Catch more weather boosted Pokemon
DO NOT waste stardust unless you really need to
Play more when events with double/triple stardust are occurring

I am doing that for a long time and i'm almost at 1 million stardust (I wasted around 200K around 3 weeks ago and I almost doubled the stardust amount I wasted since then).
