Once a spoofer, always a spoofer.

I live in a relatively rural area, a small town, and I was able to gather a group of people to do raids, barely able to do legendary raids.

And of course, some of the local spoofers also wanted to join in because obviously they can't get any legendaries on their own. I allowed them to join in on our raids and they were hanging out with us in person. But as of lately they became lazy once again and want to spoof into raids with us, which I am against of course.
That isn't the main problem, the main problem is that despite us helping them, they disrespect other players and tear down all the gyms through spoofing in the town (all 9 gyms) and put their pokemon overnight. And they also put their spoofed pokemon inside the gyms.

I am sort of the leader of the group and I called them out on it and asked them to not tear down every gym nor put spoofed pokemon into the gyms, if they could spoof into New York to catch a blissey they can easily leave that blissey in New York and not mess with the rest of us. I also proposed to ban these people from raids if they continue to do so, which of couse they continued and got angry at me for calling them out. The rest of us fairly distribute gyms and tear them down to grant everyone their 50 coins per day.

I have yet found a spoofer that is actually a good and rational person. Is my judgement and actions justified, and what would you do in this case?

Doing fine IMO...if they want to be an ass, let them play their spoofing game on their own...and not let them in your raids neither...

Seriously, people should play other games if they have to spoof playing this one since there are MUCH BETTER games out there.

This is what I don't understand about spoofing. Pokemon Go really isn't a complicated game or one with much depth, so the only thing it has going for it over other mobile games (at least in my opinion) is that you actually have to get out to play it.

I think your actions are justified, why help them (let them participate in raids) when they don't show any respect or gratification in return?

Just do private lobbies and tell everyone who's actually there in person what the raid group code is to stop spoofers joining.

I'm also managing a group of raiders and I found out one of the players was a spoofer. I had to put him on the banlist even tho he looked like a friendly and kind person. He accepted his "faith" without any denial.

God damn I hate spoofers, I would wish Niantic thought the same about it.

In any other game, cheaters get banned for good, perma, ip, hardware banned. Niantic just doesn't seem to care, I await the day when someone capable takes control of Niantic and gets to work.

Whit the new system isn't a good thing that they tear down the gyms? Stagnation now is Just useless for everyone, ok spoofed blissey May be boring to deal with, but After a few hours they become much frailer

The same person took down all 9 gyms, not allowing anyone else to accumulate the required hours overnight for the 50 coins of the day. The worst thing is that he took them down before midnight when we all already had recieved the 50 coins for today.

I don't get it, how can spoofers not get legendaries. Then I see they only spoof locally, somewhat unique IMO. so they simply enjoy dominating local gyms via spofing instead of getting better and stronger Pokemon's.

I dont think you are out of line asking them to spoof into the next town over to raid gyms to not effect the group you all play with.

If they cant be rational and act like fools, use private raids for sure. Worst case scenario, they act right and join you in person instead of taking advantage of now knowing you in person.

Amateur spoofer if he/she is trying to raid with legit players.

I never raid with legit players unless they ask me for help.

Go's selling point is having to go outdoors and play, if you don't want to do that there is no reason to play go. Might aswell play pokemon sun and moon instead. Unless you're completely irrational.

Therefore It is indeed a fact all GO spoofers are irrational.
