spin drops resolved?

went out spun some stops first few were only 2 drops, got a drink spun some more seems to be dropping 3 again.

My last spin was a 3 item, but I thought it was an accident. Reading other posts, it might be back to normal.

Let's not talk about a fix, because I'm pretty sure it was intentional, but receiving so many complains, they decide to bring it back to the original state.

I recall some similar reduced drops happening before. I think either before or after the event with double spawns and double pokestop drops.

Needs more test. The previous item drop range is 3-4(or 3-5?) items(not including 10 stop bonus), I think the range now is minus one , so 2-3 items per drop. We cannot say it is fixed if we only get a few 3-item spins.

The previous drop range was min 3, but one could get a lot more. I've spun 6 on a regular stop several times, a handful of 7, 8 twice and 9 once. 4 and 5 are regular enough occurrences (although less than 3) to not even merit counting.

This is during regular play, mind you, and not first spin of the day/week. There was that time when they were doing double items on spins, and I got a 14 there (7x2).

I noticed several 2 drops this afternoon.

Resolved. Noticed the 2 item drops at around 5:30 EST, on train home from work where the 2 item drops continued, noticed 3 item drops resumed around 6:55 EST. At most it was a several hour fail.
