Do we have any idea how the distribution on these work? I got a dragon scale on my first spin of the day and I am wondering if that is how they work, random one per day first spin. Anybody know?

Nice. Those are the two I really want, as I have a perfect Scyther and two perfect Seadras. I've spun about 80 pokestops since last night, and not gotten any evolution items yet.

I didn't get an evolved item on my first spin of the day, it might be possible that they are more common on the first spin of the day though.

The only one that I got was the sunstone, and it wasn't on the first spin of the day.

None yet (only 4 pokestop spins though). I think you just got lucky.

Yet to get any, spun about 50-75 pokestops in the last 12 hours

Just metal coat about half way through spinning 40 odd pokestops. They seem pretty thinly distributed (not a bad thing).
