Spare dust to power up which Pokemon?

I have 10 Pokemon over 3000+ CP and in general happy with my attacking and prestiging team. As I have 2-mil+ dust, wondering if I should power up another mon or two, that could be useful either for attacking/defending.

Here are my options (with max CP I can power up to at my level):

Tyranitar 98% [Bite, Fireblast] - 3531 CP
Dragonite 100% [Dragon Tail, Hyperbeam] - 3453 CP
Vaporeon 87% [Water Gun, Hydro Pump] - 3004 CP
Donphan 98% [Counter, Play Rough] - 2908 CP
Exeggutor 100% [Bullet Seed, Psychic] - 2812 CP
Golem 98% [Mud Slap, Stone Edge] - 2801 CP
Machamp 93% [Counter, Close Combat] - 2755 CP
Gengar 98% [Hex, Shadow Ball] - 2518 CP

(Would have gone with Tyranitar and Dragonite had only the movesets been good)

Opinions/thoughts? Or should I just wait for the gym rework that has no known ETA?

My roster is different from yours so I'm not sure what you need.

Of that list in my area only Dragonite , Vape, and Tyranitar could make a CP good enough to rank highly in a gym.

The Dragonite will also be an excellent attacker. That is the only one I would run way up without question. The rest I would wait on. You could look at some specialists like a bug move Scizor if you see Eggs much in your gym scene. Or other specialists that hard counter frequent gym defenders in your area.

Thanks. I realise the below 3000 ones won't stay in gyms, but wondering if there's any advantage in maxing them as attackers.

Some certainly could like your Donophan or Golem but I would wait. I'm also assuming you already have a Golem probably?

I've already maxed a 96% Donphan with the same moveset, but this 98% one goes slightly higher in eventual CP.

I have several Golem, but none maxed. This is my best IV one.

DT makes that Dragonite good enough to power up for defense. Also, that Tyranitar would be a great attacker against Blissey and Snorlax.

I thought HB is relatively bad for defence because everyone dodges it easily?

Tyranitar despite Fireblast?? (was gutted when I rolled that)

Dragonite is one of those defenders with a double weakness, so he goes down fast. Being 100% with dt, I would personally power it up. Fireblast isnt ideal, but he is still a great attacker. I use a 2300 cp one with horrible IVs and he still does a good job.

Also, hyper beam is easily dodged, but you still take damage from dodged moves, this is why hb on Snorlax is a top defensive moveset.

Good to hear about the Dragonite.

Great to hear that my Tyranitar isn't junk. Must try him out.

Thanks!
